Nu Era
feat
RTKAL
Sick
Four40
We are always excited to hear from the Four40 imprint as they continuously push creative new avenues of bass music. For this one they team up with Nu Era for a dark and dangerous expedition into dancehall alongside RTKAL. To start, Nu Era supplies the perfect backing, complete with dark, growling bass sounds, triplet drum patterns and rolling subs. From here RTKAL lays down some serious vocal heat, with his deep vocal presence piercing through the mix in the all the right places.
Aerotonin
Spin
Southpoint
Simply Deep's Aerotonin makes his full Southpoint debut with some absolute fire. First up we're accosted by the rapid wry humour of Luciferian and Jabz as "Spin" hits us with beat after beat, bar after bar in the most full frontal way possible. "S&S" gives us the smoky feels; all atmospheric and swaggering with well crafted synths and a perfect female vocal hit while "League" goes in for the big bounce with a "Pulse X" informed finale: Stampy kicks with venomous bass and breaks/fill that come in from nowhere, this is bare chaos material.
Forslab
Future Rastaman
EXCLUSIVE
Dubtribu
As one of the most impressive dubstep imprints to take centre stage of the last few years, Dubtribu are at it again, this time in soulful collaboration with Forslab. On this "Future Rastaman" EP we are treated to three dubwise delights, kicking off with the heavily swung sounds of the title track. This one is a belter, complete with choppy marching drum arrangements and lethal subs. We drip into the amphibious nature of "Six Shootaz" next, which forges aquatic percussive sounds and gnarly atmospherics with dub themes to great effect. Finally we end of the collaboration with Kovaakh named "Bong Dub". This is a perfect way to see the EP out in style, as euphoric lead synths take the lead role above wobbly bass structures and classic dubstyle chord patterns.

LW Recordings
LW Recordings bring the heat once again with their ninth compendium of cutting edge UKG, breaks, bass and all things in between. 25 tracks in total; each one tickling dark spots you didn't even know you had, highlights include the weirded out reverse bass twists of Atom West's "Pimp Mode", DJ Nipper's low-riding halftime bubbler "Tronix", Darkzy's rave-meets-riot VIP of "Glock", Stand's piano-pumped uplifter "Drawbar" and AxLi's moody 808 smoker jam "Sand Traps". Sublime by name...

Rollin' Dub/King Of Kings
Scrub A dub
Glasgow's own Scotch Bonnet continue with their super popular Scrub A Dub imprint as we draw towards 2017's close. This time around they delve back into the deep dubstep market with two fantastic original creations. First up, Cumbria's 'Somah' steps forward with wonk inspired work of magic, bearing the well deserved title 'Rollin Dub'. On the flip side we turn down a more dubstyle avenue, courtesy of JSM's weighty arrangement of 'King Of Kings'. As ever it's great to see dub music is well and truly alive and thriving with the UK underground scene!
Mungo's Hi Fi
Rules Of The Dance
Scrub A dub
There have already been a few messed-up mixes of "Rules Of The Dance" by Mungo's Hi Fi, but this latest rework by JD quite possibly takes the biscuit. Slowed down to the heartbeat of a dying stab victim in a dark alleyway, this moody rework is all about the neg vibes - with Charlie P's (ironically positive) lyrical flow pitched down to a booming voice of doom floating above an eerie hip-hop beat before celestial synth melodies flood the tune. Never has scary sounded so good!
Egoless
/
Von D
Analog Sound/Bubble Beat
Scrub A dub
This is the first time that Egoless and Von D team up for an EP, but already we can hear them syncing up perfectly thanks to their love for deep and sweltering UK bass. In all honesty, Von D's "Analog Sound" is a traditional dubstep tune, the sort of heavyweight swelter that knocks you from side to side and gets your head nodding from pure kinetic instinct - this will surely go down well at the DMZ showdowns. Egoless' "Bubble Beat" is something slightly different and, although it is also part of the 'classic' dubstep template, the tune breaks that groove pattern into something quirkier, more leftfield and reminiscent of Egoless' other choice material.
Mungo'S Hi Fi
feat
Charlie P
Rules Of The Dance
Scrub A dub
The Mungos crew lay down a gorgeous naked beat and invite emerging Essex mic-man Charlie P to spread it with lyrical command. The result is a perfect slice of modern day dancehall dub that will charm every style of bass DJ thanks to its big warm subs, soft skanks and a slick-tongued mic command that lingers in your mind long after the track's finished. For something a little darker head for Kahn's remix: continuing his Midas touch, the Bristol don gives this an intricate, drum-heavy twist. Ruling.
