Zero
Bad Attitudes
Saucy
One of Brighton's finest newcomers: Zero teams up with the incredibly consistent Saucy Records for a fantastic piece of bass music entitled 'Bad Attitudes'. Zero has been gaining quite the reputation within the UK bass scene for innovative sound design and impeccable production and this one is certainly not the exception to the rule. Neuro inspired lead bass synths couple up perfectly with crisp drum arrangements and unpredictable beat stops for composition swimming in natural rhythm.
Chris Royal
Thump
Instant Vibes
Chris Royal continues his fantastically energetic start to 2018 with a straight bass banger. This one, entitled 'Thump' does everything it says on the tin, bringing crispy percussive melodies to the forefront of the piece coupled nicely with thick rolling sub basses and skippy drum patterns. This is a perfect example of where the creative corners of bass music are expanding to, incorporating new instruments and atmospheric breakdowns which completely enhance the overall experience. Oh yeah and who doesn't love a euphoric build up?

Featurecast
Monkey Dance
Instant Vibes
Not content with being a titan of the breaks scene, it now appears that Krafty Kuts is intent on instigating a new international dance phenomenon, if the lyrics to "Monkey Dance" are to be believed. The original takes a humble Jamaican lilt and mercilessly pounds it into next week with some mighty noisy-electro action and some serious bass wobble. In addition to the aforementioned damage done, Kuts returns to add some Moombahton beats to leftovers of the original. Also Bobby C delivers a perky electro-disco remix, while Ed Solo provides a D&B version.

Let's Ride
Instant Vibes
Krafty Kuts returns with the hot-house electro of "Let's Ride", joined by Atlanta rapper Shorty-O who adds a slinky, drrty feel to the French filtered choruses and wobbly verses. British producer Ado weighs in with a monster of a mix that simply skyrockets upward to a huge crescendo, while breaks titan PYRAMID drops some huge glitchy bass licks on his half-steppin' version, along with a more upfront "Future Jungle" mix that maintains a house tempo but with a rollicking, Amen-style break bolstering it nicely.

Bang Bang
Instant Vibes
Combine sounds similar to Mr Oizo's "Flatbeat" with the gnarly snarl of what Russian producer Proxy makes with a sense of cloud pleasing antics and Karfty Kuts' "Bang Bang" is, no doubt about it - a certified banger. There's licks of electro-funk in "The Wasp" with touches of newer breakbeat styles you could compare with The Prodigy, however the 'what!' and 'stealin the flow' vocal samples have got Krafty Kuts written all over it. Huge two-track.

Jason Laidback
Woofers In The Trunk
Instant Vibes
Instant Vibes have secured a coup here - a one-off collaboration between two key nu-skool breaks producers - Krafty Kuts and Jason Laidback. The results are smokin' with "Woofers In The Trunk' being a tough edged funker with pulsating bass, beefed up big-beats and a nonchalant drawl. Badass!

Pounding
Instant Vibes
A titan of the global breaks scene, Krafty Kuts returns with the huge electro bounce of new single "Pounding". While Krafty's original rocks a 130bpm+ Miami bass-styled rhythm underneath Dynamite MC's excellent flow, Dirtyphonics go for a menacing dubstep rerub while Deekline and Product01 team up to give "Pounding" an excellent tropical-house remake that's full of canny bass moves and carnival-esque rhythms.
